United Kingdom (UK) provides various options to attract global talent to work within UK. Recently, UK has launched new work visa scheme i.e. "High Potential Individual (HPI)" visa. This visa option aims to attract high skilled overseas talent who have graduated from world’s top 50 universities.
It allows graduates to come to the UK without a job offer. Individuals can apply for the HPI route if they have graduated from an eligible international university (see the list below for eligible universities) in the five years immediately before their application.
As per the UK goverment website, the High Potential Individual (HPI) route is a short-term work visa for individuals at an early career stage, who have shown they have potential to benefit the UK workforce. From 30 May 2022, you can apply for the HPI route if you have graduated from an eligible international university in the 5 years immediately before your application.

Features of High Potential Individual (HPI) Visa Scheme
Under HPI scheme, applicants must have been awarded degrees no more than five years before the date of application.
You don’t need to have a job offer to apply.
Your qualification must have been verified by Ecctis.
Candidate must pass a security and criminality check, and be able to speak, read, listen and write English at an intermediate level.
The visa will cost £715 and is subject to the immigration health surcharge (IHS).
If successful you will be given a 2-year work visa (3-year for those with a PhD) and can switch to other long-term employment visas, if you meet the eligibility requirements.
Graduates will be able to bring their families, although they must have maintenance funds of at least £1,270.
