ISRO Cyberspace Competitons (ICC-2020)

Information from ISRO on Result Declaration.

Dear Participant,

We feel pleasure to inform that the evaluation process of the
submissions for ICC-2020 is in progress.

Based on the first glimpse of submissions, it appears that most of you
have prepared sincerely and studied on various aspects of Space
Science and Technology, towards participation in ICC-2020. With this
zeal and strong determination, you can achieve your desired goal and
contribute positively towards the progress of our Nation.

You may be eagerly waiting for the results of ICC-2020. The results
are most likely to be declared by first week of September 2020. The
updated information on results shall be made available on ICC-2020
link at ISRO Web Portal.

Please continue reading latest articles on Space Science and
Technology to keep yourself updated in the space domain.

There is no fee for participation. 

During the present COVID-19 challenging times, when physical meetings are near-impossible, ISRO plans to play its unifying role for the young minds of our country by involving them in various online competitions showcasing their potential talents by organising online ISRO Cyberspace Competitions–2020 (ICC–2020). ICC–2020 would avoid the physical travel of the students to different places and facilitates their participation online keeping them safe within their home during these testing times.

Syllabus and basic rules

Class & Subject

Class 1-3 : Drawing

Syllabus

·        Viewing earth from space

·        View of sky in clear night

·        View inside space station

·        Human landing on Mars

·        Space Habitat on Moon

·        Varying visible shapes of Moon

Points to Remember

·        Use water, wax or pencil colour for drawing.

·        A3 size white paper / chart paper shall be used for drawing.


Class & Subject

Class 4-8 : Model Making / Science Craft

Syllabus

·        Spacecraft

·        Space station

·        Rovers on moon

·        Rockets for exo-planet

·        Launchpad for rockets

·        Docking of Satellites

·        Societal benefit of space technology

Points to Remember

·        Use cardboard, paper, clothes, adhesive tapes, colours & gums only.

·        Thermocole not to be used.

·        Maximum size of model permitted 50 cm (l) x 50 cm(w) x 50 cm (h).

·        Take 1 - 6 photographs (i.e. Front View, Back View,

·        Left Side View, Right Side View, Top View and Bottom View.

·        Write a brief about the model you have made in your own hand writing in A4 size sheet (maximum 2 pages only).

Points to Remember

·        Write date and your registration number only on the right top corner of your Answer Sheet.

·        Do not write your name, phone number, address, school details etc. anywhere on paper.

·        Use A4 size plane / ruled white sheet only.

·        Maximum word limit is 1000 words.

·        Participant’s handwritten Answer-sheets only will be accepted for evaluation.

·        Take 1 - 6 photographs (i.e. Front View, Back View, Left Side View, Right Side View, Top View and Bottom View).

·        Write a brief about the model you have made in your own hand writing in A4 size sheet (maximum 2 pages only).
