Nouns
Naming words are called nouns.
Noun is a word which names a person, place, animal or thing.
There are two types of nouns: 1. Common Nouns and 2. Proper Nouns

Examples of naming words:

Common Nouns
A common noun is common word (or general name) used for persons, places, animals or things.
A common noun starts with small letter.
A common noun always consists of one word.

Examples of common nouns:

man, woman, children, brother, father, mother, cousin, nephew, parent, grandma, grandpa, teacher, doctor, judge, cobbler, nurse, judge, author, girl, boy, etc.
Place
country, city, state, street, mountain, hills, beach, river, park, school, home, playground, etc.

lions, elephants, ants, tigers, birds, sheep, insects, dog, bee, cow, lizard, monkey, etc.
Things
trains, radio, toy, bag, shirt, television, shoe, river, table, chair, flower, pen, pencil, book, bridge, house, car, door, fruit, juice, tea, coffee, jam, bicycle, aircraft, computer, etc.

Proper Nouns
A proper noun names a particular person or place.
A proper noun always starts with capital letter.
A proper noun sometimes consists of two words.
